What if we deeply listened to ourselves?

Listening to oneself is an inseparable and vital component of Generous Listening. It’s not always a comfortable journey because, during the process of listening within, there are many voices. Some suppressed. Some ignored.

But the reward that lies at the end of the journey is an immense feeling of wholeness. We believe this to be the “reunification of self” that Rumi defined as the ultimate freedom- vuslat.

When one develops self-compassion and self-empathy, one also extends these qualities to others. There are thousands of different ways to embark on the journey of 'generous listening to oneself', ranging from embracing nature to meditation from various practices of religions to engaging with art and creativity. Whatever the channel, it is extremely important to have a safe space in your life to hear yourself with an intention to seize your inner voice.

There can be many obstacles to the act of listening generously.
